This is a small machine mice that I made to use in my workshop. Its only light duty, mainly so I can hold work whilst I drill it, and possible glue parts together. Print Settings Printer: Mini Kossel Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% on main body, 20% on handle Post-Printing Assembly You will need a short length of 8mm studding. Glue a nut into the machine vice body. Run the legth of studding through the (now captive) nut and add another nut at the end - dont forget to put the plate on before the next step!. You need to make the nut not turn, so either glue it to the end, or "distress" the thread so that it binds when you try to remove it. I used a couple of small wood screws to hold the plate which also traps the end nut. I managed to get the handle to be an interference fit on the rod, but you may need to use a bit of glue to help.

This is an adapter to convert a round door knob to a door handle with a lever, inspired by the design by tbirdrv. I redid this concept from scratch in OpenSCAD so that the dimensions can be fully parameterized to fit various door knob sizes with a close match so that the pieces line up. I am fond of smooth ergonomic 3D printed parts, so this design calculates a curved hand-friendly structure with smooth rounded edges. This results in additional calculation time for OpenSCAD to render the final result. If you turn the sfn parameter down to 0, then it will render quickly for adjusting dimensions. I recommend raising it back to 4 for the final render for a smooth result. The most elegant resulting appearance is obtained if you match the nom_knob_diam variable in the .scad file to within at least 0.3mm of the correct diameter for your door knob. Calipers and good calibration are helpful for this, otherwise you may have to adjust and reprint. You can also try terminating a test print early, and using the first few layers to check your measurement. At the ideal size the nut and bolt sides will clamp together tightly right as it reaches the desired grip on the door knob. The example stl file is for a 54.8mm diameter door knob, and is designed to be held on with an M5x12 bolt and an M5 nut.

I'm trying to make a cast a model in PLA to Aluminum, after several failed attempts mold as cracks and other horrible things xD, I decided to try this for see if works better, moldel in two parts. once filled and dry the first half of the mold,, climbs a little frame and the second casting mold is made. mall G-Clamp fully printable without support. Additional a larger frame and screw is provided which adds another centimeter. The protector can be reused for the larger clamp. The screw has a fair amount of space, so it should fit without problems into the frame screw hole. Should anyone still have an issue let me know and i can provide an additional version. The best way to mount the protector is to use the clamp itself by closing the clamp until the screw ball and protector ball joint clicks together or use your thumb. For my requirements i used only 25% (~3 hour print) because i need just to hold things in place while the glue is drying. For more force 100% infill is recommended and don't forget it's not made of steel.
