This is an adapter to convert a round door knob to a door handle with a lever, inspired by the design by tbirdrv. I redid this concept from scratch in OpenSCAD so that the dimensions can be fully parameterized to fit various door knob sizes with a close match so that the pieces line up. I am fond of smooth ergonomic 3D printed parts, so this design calculates a curved hand-friendly structure with smooth rounded edges. This results in additional calculation time for OpenSCAD to render the final result. If you turn the sfn parameter down to 0, then it will render quickly for adjusting dimensions. I recommend raising it back to 4 for the final render for a smooth result. The most elegant resulting appearance is obtained if you match the nom_knob_diam variable in the .scad file to within at least 0.3mm of the correct diameter for your door knob. Calipers and good calibration are helpful for this, otherwise you may have to adjust and reprint. You can also try terminating a test print early, and using the first few layers to check your measurement. At the ideal size the nut and bolt sides will clamp together tightly right as it reaches the desired grip on the door knob. The example stl file is for a 54.8mm diameter door knob, and is designed to be held on with an M5x12 bolt and an M5 nut.

I'm proud to show off a quick hour design. I got fed up with coins and keys etc. lying around on my desk. Needed something to put my stuff. Not to big, not too small, just enough until i leave the house again. I present to you a wallet, coin and key holder. Mountable with Tape. Alternatively the beveled cut should allow you to drill small mounting holes. It has space for a slim wallet, and thus don't expect a 100 euro note to fit too easily. As shown in the photos, if you're wallet is fatter, fold it and then drop it in. Coins work well, all euro coins work. Oh and there's a pen holder too! Please post makes if you make one. I have included the Solid-works file for mixing and measurements fitting only.

We have lever doorknobs throughout our house, partially for accessibility reasons. While they're easier for me to open, they're also easier for our clever toddler (and apparently cats) to open. I looked around, and commercial systems try to prevent use of the doorknob completely and, if youtube videos are to be believed, they're ineffective at that. I didn't want something that could lock an occupant inside the room. This simple device blocks the lever from being pulled down, while still leaving it free to move up. Our short little toddler isn't big enough to push the lever up, so he's kept out, while us giants are free to pass. This model is designed to fit a Schlage Flair with a round plate, but it'll likely fit many other models and brands. You may have to scale up a small percent if your doorknob backing plate is a different size. Critical default dimensions (scale up or down as needed) Maximum backing plate diameter: 29mm Distance from door surface to back of lever: 47mm
